No blog of a drive across country would be complete without a collection of photos of the old cars I encountered along the way. At least no blog of mine... The way I'll do this is I'll note where I saw the car, and to the best of my ability without ready access to my library of car books to verify, I'll try to give the year and make of the car. Contrary to the way I've organized my posts in the past, the location will precede the photo, while the identification of the car will be below the photo.

JOTT - Special Edition - American Flora
It's flower time. Since I don't know much about flowers, I'll just present these photos with their locations.
The first flowers I photographed were in Wind Cave National Park.
Then Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
But Glacier National Park was really the high point for wildflowers (and the occasional mushroom).
After Glacier, I next saw a number of flowers in Yellowstone National Park.
From Yellowstone, I went a few days without seeing many. Then I chanced upon the Steamboat Springs Botanical Garden.
Spending a morning walking around Breckenridge, CO revealed several gems.
And how can we forget the fake roses in the woods above Lake Dillon?
A couple of days later in Aspen...
This Dandelion was the size of my fist.
And the day after that in Ouray, CO.
And the final flowers I saw before heading out across the barren expanses of the Nevada desert were at the Santa Fe skiing area.
Stay tuned for more special editions!
